How to development of clients and connect with them?

I have came into my company for 8 months. At first I mainly deal with documents ,such as contract ,commercial invoice ,packing list and so on .But now the manufacturing isn't good as before ,now I must improve customers and connect with them ,but I don't know how to do this.[A Professional Business Forum]-p*c3G6L7X(Z

I have sent e-mail to one person,but the standard he said I didn't understand .So he sent me the documents about the standard ,40 pages.It's hard for me to translate it and understand it.I don't know what's the main and important.
