How many email do you send to the customer every

Someone ever told me he sent more than one thousand email to the customer, when I heard that, I was so surprised and shocked.
It is impossible for me to send so much email in one day. Maybe he was joking, or maybe it is true. Who knows....

how got 1000 e-mail . i think send 1000 e-mail everyday that need 300 e-mail address at least.
