in our office, i usually send email to customers, who are friends of our boss. If need, customer will call our boss or our boss call them.[A Professional Business Forum]+j-H(m5W1J,~;f"{%C

Normally i use emails,as it has the"cc,to"functions,i can let my boss know what i've done,and the most important thing,emails can be used as record.
Phone calls is the most efficient way,but i would send an additional email to customer to confirm the converstion after phone talking.

It's not easy to answer your question. First , I send email to my clients, this is the common mode at present. Second, If the clients don't reply to your e-mail, you must give him a call . Last, you can talk to your clients in MSN, SKYPE,YAHOO after you send e-mail to him or call him by phone.

Skype is used more frequent. Because our customers use skype most.
