This was evidenced by a signing ceremony of the "Post-Games Employee Allocation Agreement" between BOCOG and related companies at a press conference at the Beijing Olympic Media Center on Friday.

The state-owned corporations include the China Petroleum and Chemical Corp. (Sinopec), the China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC), the State Grid, the China Power development Limited, China Construction Bank, China Mobile.

Xu Zhijun, deputy director of the Human Resources Department of BOCOG, and representatives of the relevant companies signed the agreement.

Addressing the ceremony, BOCOG deputy secretary-general Zhang Zhiwei said that through preparations for the Olympic Games, BOCOG has pooled and trained a number of exceptional talents who know how to manage comprehensive and large-scale international sports events. The new program for their post-Games employment will play a positive role in retention and encouragement of BOCOG personnel to ensure the success of the Olympic Games.

Zhang Jitian, deputy director of Sinopec Human Resources Department, said the nine state-owned enterprises regard the human component of BOCOG as part of the core competiveness of their businesses, having recruited talented individuals from all sectors through various channels.

In her speech, Shen Rubing, deputy director of the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the Beijing Municipality (Beijing SASAC), said the SASAC and its affiliated enterprises will take the opportunity from the Olympic Games to train their own personnel in the process of Olympic preparations and recruit personnel from BOCOG after the Games so that they can further optimize their structure of human resources and make them more professional.
