       I am a new member on FOB Forum, below is my experience in doing internationl business,which also is my first time working for a company which is doing the international business. Therefore, maybe there are many problems with me, also with the thoughts I have known about this company. If you have any good points advise on, just state here.       About 4 monthes ago, I began my working life in this factory, yes, it is a factory, and we are working here,even though we are foreign trade sales person. Many of my friends asked me " why you are working in a factory? why do not you go to a foreign trade company or some factroies office which in the business zone." I said: for now, I do not want high salary, I just want the experience, maybe I can learn more if I work in a factory.2V"Br6^ihn)S

      Why I have such kind of view? Below are the reasons:
*l0r'qM jW       1) Our manager, to be more accuracy,  our sales manager had done many bad things on me, he thought I was a new member in this factory, so, had done some thing which are discrimination on me. For example, called other colleagues (who were in the same department) went to have dinner or had a meeting, but except me. Just I was a new member, but he did not know, after doing that, how other members would think about thies case?  g C S'{-S}$pS1H
          But I am not a craven, I have done something let him be ashamed. What I did? Get more orders !! Now, everyone knows who he is, to be honest, no one have good impression of him.....}:P0b]MT(mQ!?+x

          Speaking of the factory, there are more problems, such as: delivery, quality, price, management, accommodation.... Oh, I can not stop now...hehe..
Xh qe)w/yw           All above problems are what I am experiencing now or experienced before, We alway can not delivery the goods on time due to the quality, because I should keep my promise that the quality of goods should be up to their requirements.But you know, the production department can not provide me with the right products, then I ask them to do it again, the result is I can not delivery the goods on time...n+m{m@3C
         Price is one of the most problem that we can not get big order, every one knows that more quantity get lower price, but it seems that more quantity get higher price in our factory, hehe..maybe you do not believe me. OK, there is another expample, one of my clients let me give him a quotation, one quantity is 200 000pcs, one is 1 000 000pcs, do you know what the price is? SAME !!! All the quotation we got are from our factory director, but he give us this quotation, no orders will be placed even to me, how to say the customer. No fool is doing business !

just go to your factory and learn the productions of the products so that you can have a better understanding of the products which will be helpful in your future development

and if you can't understand your products very well and the customers won't be easy to do business with you for they think you are not proffessional4G m@ue0|}

1.the boss ----nearly all bosses know little about int'l business cause they received less education.  In  other words , they say /do something without considering even don't care . What i dealt with was doing quietly with saying nothing . After all , they are boss while  i am an underling  . 7u[;hq }7d'o

5. more thing to be mentioned, factories in Guangdong, most of them are not in good condition. ^^. they work more days than asked. one thing i admire u is that u'd like to work overtime. but i would never like to work during weekend. C&H

These days, I learnt a lot from a guy, he taught me a lot on working and help me a lot. so these things are to be shared here. hope it will have some effect. ^^

I have been working at this factory more than one year till now, and there are really so many problem existing, and i found it's very hard to change anything . the reason i know is that my boss is the person like that , he don't care about anything but the money must transfer in his account. he desn't care about could not send the good to client in time and haven't explain the reason to client.

I would be crazy about it sometime, because i delay one delivery date to my client , and when the date is closing to another specify delivery dated, the production department still can not finish them and say about nothing but just reply me as " we have no choice, just wait" only.  i want to go away everytime they told about me this sentence. I really don't know how to take a reply to my client for the second or the third delay........

     I agree with your points. The delivery is pretty important not only we promise our clients, but also it is the chances we can show them how good our service is. But actually, I faced this problems many times as you did.

I refered this problem to our factory director and production department. But do you know what happened at the end? They got the right material at the last day of lead time. Before that,what they said were " we do not have any better material , this one is the best one." Ok, where did you get this material which could be accepted by my customer? CPb0NE;jZ

u     It seems that their statements were nonsense. They just did not want to change the material cause the better one would cost more. But they did not realize that we would lose this customer if we offer bad products.

Actually, as far as my personality concern, I do not like to change the company if I was not fired by the company.

Every greenhand beginning to work is different,but their aim is same.Do more things,learn more experience,become professional sale.

I think, dose not all the factory like this, our factory do well in this field. but however ever the environment bad, it is appreciated that you can work hard. Come on , then find a more good job!
