[My Sports Story] The Story of Basketball and I

[color=Blue][size=3]  I can clearly remember that it happened in the summer holiday of my fifth grade primary school. That was my first real contact with basketball, because I hadn't played basketball before but just watched some basketball games from TV.

  The person who took me to contact basketball is one of my classmate---Robert, and he is still one of my best friends now.
  
  One morning in that Summer holiday, Robert gave me a call to ask me to play baskerball with him, of course, I was surprised of that, becase I hadn't played it before. And just I was free, we went together.

  You can imagine that I was a green hand at that time, so I could just make some simple shooting:L . But he taught me how to shoot patiently, and also told me some skills. Gradually, I was familiar with it, and from then nearly every morning at that holiday we would go to play baskerball in a ground near my home. I was becoming more and more skillful so that I could play some games with others.

  That holiday is really a memorable time for me. We often played from the 6:30 in the morning to the noon, when we were tired, we would lie on the ground, seeing the flowing cloud, sometimes maybe an fllying ant-like plane over the sky. That was a wonderful holiday for me, because I made many friends during the period of that time. I am a shy boy, but basketball gives me the courage to know more friends and become more confident.

  Day after day, I became more and more skillful, and I became a member of my class' basketball team when I was in my sixth grade primary school. And I also assited our team won many games in the matches held by school.:lol

  Time flies.......I had come to the middle school, and I had the honour to become a basketball team member of my class. :loveliness: We would have a training together on every Thursday afternoon because we have to keep a good condiction waiting for other classes' challenge and the yearly basketball matches held by school. From the training, I got much information of the basketball tactics and through the matches I got the actual combat experience.

  The interclass basketball match was coming, and that was the first time I took part in such a large competition. I got some nervous then, because many spectators and cheering squads arounded the ground. Fortunately, I had a good performance in that series, and the most unforgettable match was a elimination game.
  
  This game was a keen one, as the scores was in a stalemate from the begining to the end. Until the last 10 seconds, our opponent headed us 2 points in the score, at that moment, the ball was suddenly passed to me, as the time was pressing, without any consideration, I got ready to shoot a 3-point ball,the result of the game hung by a hair. When the ball was throw out, I found the ball is out of the route. (I thougt that was over, and we were surely defeated) Unexpectedly, the ball hit the backboard and then flipped into the basketry.
  
  We won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  
  We won the match!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  
  Thunder-like applauses and cheers burst out all over the ground.........
  
  There is nothing in my brain but excitement. My team members rush to me to celebrate this costful success. At that moment, I felt like a hero returning triumphant.:lol
  
  Thanks for my team members, thanks for Robert. You take me so much joy and nice memory.

fifth grade primary school?That's really little.At that I didn't know what is the basketball.:@
I just know the pingpong very well.And I also play pingpong very well.:lol

I remember that when I am a primary school student before fifth grade, I would always go to the playground to play ping-pong with my friends as soon as class over, and then rush into the classroom when we heard tinkle of the bell.:L :L

So.........you can imagine the condiction when we came into the classroom.

Now, sometimes I will play ping-pong with my colleagues at night, because there is a table-tennis table in our dormitory

It is really a good suggestion, but the friends here come from all over the country.

It is hard to hold a competition like that. Do you have any idea to solve this problem?:)

Along with the development of EFOB, I think there will be more and more friends in a same city or even a same town.

At that time, several sport games held by EFOB is affective.:) :victory:
