Can anyone explain what's going on at  Diner with customer?

well, although people usually eager to make a deal but in fact it is not a good idea to focus all your conversation on business deal while you are having dinner with them. hG#k#GcD)u:~

1. choose a nice restaurant for dinner. it does not have to be an expensive and high class restaurant. just pick a clean one.  you can choose a typical chinese restaurant and introduce some specity to your customers. but the safest way is pick a restaurant that provide the food of their own country since they may not appreciate the favor.

anyway, it is important to leave a good impression before you switch your topic into something more serious. i don't suggest topic of actual deal at dinner. instead, causally topic on his career and the market in his country will be better. by the conversation, you might be able to get a general idea about his company and their  plans of buying.
