You must offer CNPJ for the clearance of the customs

CNPJ--tax ID, before you deliver the goods to Brazil, you must get the tax ID from your brazil customer, otherwise, your goods will return. I met this problem last week. :( :( :(

The samples have been returned without tax id.

So, don't forget to ask your customers to send you "tax id" when you do business with brazil clients.

you need to put the CNPJ number on B/L, it is necessary.

the VAT

the exports and the imports require the VAT number for the customs clearnece.

CNPJ is very important for companies in China same as ID for Chinese in China!
