Do you support job quotas in pvt sector?

After implementing quotas in educational i titutio  and government jo , the government is set to introduce it in the private sector as well.The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion has asked India Inc to incorporate data of SC/STs recruited from January 1, 2007 onwards in their a ual reports for the financial year ending March 2007. If the department is not convinced with the quantum of voluntary affirmative action by companies, it will enact a legislation for mandatory reservation in the first quarter of 2007-08.Corporates, however, are wary of hiring their workforce on the basis of caste, as they believe it would create a rift between employees and affect the firms' productivity.??
