Tax: Does the salaried class suffer most? Tell us

Will Finance Minister P Chidambaram tax the salaried cla  more, or will he  are it, this time? Popular perception is that the salaried sectio  are the easiest to tax and each finance minister has proceeded to milk this cow dry. Studies show that there is low compliance among non-salaried sectio  of the society when it comes to paying income tax, but the he salaried bear the brunt of this regre ive tax system. Thus, whenever the government needs to increase revenue it goes after the easiest target - the salaried cla . With rising prices and interest rates, the gap between the rich and the salaried cla  too is widening.
