The Binhai New Area has an undeveloped area of 2270 square kilometers. It is as big as 4 Pu dong District in Shanghai, 8 Taipei in Taiwan and bigger than Shenzhen. Compare to Shanghai, which has 6340.5 square kilometers, Tianjin is an international metropolis of 11,9000 square kilometers with a vast potential. Looking back at the reform and opening-up history of China, it has been developing with the speed of ten years as a big leap forward, Shenzhen in 1980s, Pudong, Shanghai in 1990s. The coming ten years is bound to be Tianjin Binhai New Area??s.
