Not sure of what kind of business men from India you have met, but, for me, I feel difficult to establish business relationship with them, they first tell you they have a big order, they can buy a lot what you have, they say they run a very big company and act as the bigget in the field...however, when you even offer them the lower price you ever quote to other old customers from other countries, they miss, they never reply or appear again.
I think many of them are wasting time.:L

Friendship with indian clients
I think Indian mechanidisers are all very considerate and tolerant and kind-hearted as well. Below comes my dialogue with one of my Indian clients.
Dear Kidd,
It is very nice to receive the mail from your end pertaining to the clarity on your part for the helping hand offered.
I really appreciate this help of yours especially in this crisis situation I was in.
I do agree that though you are selflessly helping the clients get there work managed efficiently, your loyalty to the company you are associated with will take the lead and you will have to withdraw from the type of help you are giving.
Do not worry the way you have made me feel special in going off the way to help me get the work done, does get us closer beyond business partnership.
Looking forward to continue this friendship with you in the times to come.
Wishing good luck to you for your career.
Regards
Nitin

Subject: Besides bussiness partner,we are also friends.
Dear Nitin:
How will you see me when I still stay in the shadow of our past partnership now if you are my friends rather than business partner?
To be frank, what I couldn't give up most when I left yawshyang two months ago was the partnership with my clients, which is the just reason why I am still constantly invovled in the bussiness with my clients today even though I have entered a new company. If someone does everything just for his own benefit, what I do that for?I can't even find a answer myself, and this has also confused most of my clients when time and time again I involved me with the bussiness on my own initiative. To some I am kind-hearted and to some I am meddling while to me I am both.Surprising?
The half year when I worked in Yawshyang is the first time when I touched foreign trade and foreign friends after dropping out of school.Once I was so unprofessional and ignorant,,so I thank you for your lesson and in the meantime I wil thank Yawshyang for the chance given.I remember once how I wish to make friends with a foreigner to learn English from him and time and time again I went to a scenery spot and just hoped to get a chance to meet a foreign and talk with him in English. While today I have so many good friends from different countries.I thank the god for our acquirtance.
In China ,there is a proverb going like that :"there is no friendship with no seperation".
I know one day I will have to cut the parntership with all my best clients and here I beg your pardon in advance for that while seperation can't cut our friendship.
However ,as I am still in a preparation stage for our foreign market development project in this company,so I am still free enough to give some help to you and I will be here any time for you so long as you need me.
If we have to say Bye one day ,here I wish you my best friend have a brighter future and God bless you for ever.
Best regards
Kidd

Most traders here find difficulty in doing business with Indian, It is partly due to not aware of the business environment there. It is a very huge market, no doubt about that, however, politically, India claim to be the biggest Democratic nation in the world but in term of trade policy, they are one of the most import protective country in the world. Like China, India does have many overseas Indian and these Indian control most of the India import due to their native background and family connection. Therefore, anyone wanted to trade with India should start off with an Indian overseas trader whom are more familiar with Indian economical situation instead of direct buyer from India. Another reason is India has a very strict foreign exchange control policy where remittance of USD is r ... [/quote]
