how to be family with chinese?

i'm english,lived shanghai now because of work's neccessarity. but i cant adapt the new atmosphere.can you give me a hand?

Try to read something about chinese people and the culture in the East.

make friends with more Chinese friends such as us:lol

:lol  generally speaking, chinese people are warm-hearted and friendly. it is so easy to make friends with them. but sometimes because of the language diffictult communication, so u will find it so hard to get togher and feel absolut from the people. my suggestion is that try to learn some chinese and know something about the culture and customs in china, so u will know more about china and make more friends.

You should be confident about living with the chinese first, if you always think that's not your country and your place,that will bring you feel lonely. the second is you should be mixed with the chinese, just like if you wanna be a member of them, but normally you don't like take part in the acitivities of them, they will think that it is better to let you be here alone.

i believe you won't have much problem in adapting. Many people in shanghai would want to learn english as learning it makes them more competitive. you can then make lots of friends through learning and teaching. try joining these kinds of forums to look for interested parties.:)

In my opinion, you should take it easy to live in China, everyplace can become your second home. In China, you can  make friends with Chinese, who are virtuous and friendly. I think if any you like China, Chinese, and Chinese Culture, you won't  be happy in China.8s5xZN$O
