About 2 kilometers north of the Confucius Mansions, Confucius Forest is the largest and oldest family cemetery. Confucius and his descendants in the last 2,000 years rest amid trees, pavilions and statues. Covering 200 hectares, the graveyard is a well-preserved park with almost 20,000 trees in great diversity. Confucius and his descendants are buried under mounds enclosed in a wall. An approach flanked by stone animals and guardians leads to Confucius's simple but dignified tomb adjoined by his son's and his grandson's tombs.

[#k2v{#e2m-[fH yeah,Qingdao is a beautiful coast city which have fresh air and wonderful signts.If you have chance to Qingdao,you'd better go to the Zhanqiao & Wusi Square,climing the Mountain Laoshan.:) And i think August is the suitable season for your traveling because the Qingdao International Beer festival will be opend during this time.:) You can drink all kinds of beer,such as Qingdao Beer,Snow Beer,Yanjing Beer....If you have enough time,you can visit Rizhao by the way,which is a small coast city,very clear and beautiful.

to me, the only place of Shandong i was familiar is Mt. Taishan, i've been there when i was still a college student, i spent my Summer holidays over there. i like the clear air and warm-hearted people and also their dialect, everything's so beautiful!:victory:
