Do manufacturers have better price than trading companies?

~G8]3b!K$?wz Doing business with different companies in China, how is it possible to identify if the person is a manufacturer or a trading company? I believe that basically manufacturers must have better prices than trading companies.

As to the second part of your question, in some instances you might be able to get a better price from a manufacturer than from a trading company, but not always. Manufacturers also give good prices and terms to trading companies to remain competitive. Because most trading companies have good buying power they might also be able to negotiate a better price that they can offer buyers.

yeach,in   factory  you  can obtain  a  best  price  worse than trading company,they often  ask  for you some  commission or they  will raise  the  price  to  they  customers,and the  price  will be get high .If they  think the price  ie  not  good for  them ,they  will ask you to  reduce  price ,the  your cost  is turned low  ,they  will  get a big profit  from your company.

with the trade developing, more and more foreigners would like to do business with factory. However, if your order quantity is not large, facgtory is not willing to do  business with you. on the another hand, the service in trading  company is better than factory's . I am working in factory all the time, and deal with some trade companies. the boss of trading company  will give me call and ask to do something  for him no matter when and where you are !

the price should be depended on quantity, more quantity, and better price. generally, trading company have several customers, so their quantity is largerer,so price is better.

i work in zhejiang for two years,finding some factories's scale is small, they have no ability to export their products and have to depend on foreign trading company, they only play an prcessing role in international trade. on the other hand, some customers would like to do business with trading company, maybe they have cooperated with salesperson for many years, they believe salesperson; in addition, trading companies contact many factories at the same time, they can provide various products, so it can save customers'  time for looking for various products

I have been working in trading company abroad for 2 years and now working in the factory. Most foreign customers like dealing with trading company, cos' they can supply better service and much more products. Herein the service includes effective and efficient communication, package deal, clear and formal commercial documents, etc. *v:~%wse_
As to the price, sometimes, the price of trading company is more competitive than factory for the trading company is relatively strongger than factory and they usually has more advantage in information collection, communication with clients. Therefore most factory are willing to "sell" products to trading company at a very competitive price. However, when some factories are geting stronger and stronger they are able to explore the market itself. they raise the price to ensure the enough profit to build their brand.

As to the price ,I would like to  say something about it.Firstly, I think the trade  company has more something advantage than the factory,for example,more products,more services,more international information etc. The factory doing business always that want to  get a big profit and to  build their brand
